Last updated: April 2025  ·  Amazy Products LLC
Please read these Terms carefully before using PeerPort. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About PeerPort
PeerPort is a peer-to-peer platform that connects Requesters (individuals who need items shipped internationally) with Travelers (individuals carrying luggage space on upcoming international flights). PeerPort acts solely as a marketplace and is not a licensed freight carrier or shipping company.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Traveler Responsibilities
Travelers must personally inspect all items before accepting a shipment. Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring items comply with TSA, customs, and all applicable regulations for both the origin and destination countries. PeerPort's AI-assisted photo review is advisory only and does not constitute clearance. Travelers accept full legal liability for items they carry.
4. Requester Responsibilities
Requesters must accurately describe and photograph all items. Requesters must not request the transport of prohibited, illegal, counterfeit, or restricted goods. Misrepresentation of items may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement.
5. Payments & Escrow
All payments are processed through Stripe. Funds are held in escrow until the Requester confirms delivery. PeerPort charges a platform fee on each transaction. Refund eligibility is subject to our Dispute Resolution policy. PeerPort is not responsible for losses arising from off-platform payment arrangements.
6. Prohibited Items
The following are strictly prohibited: narcotics, controlled substances, weapons, ammunition, explosives, counterfeit goods, items subject to trade sanctions, currency exceeding customs declaration limits, and any other items prohibited by applicable law or airline policy. Violations will result in permanent account suspension and may be reported to law enforcement.
7. Off-Platform Activity
Any transactions, agreements, or communications conducted outside the PeerPort platform are entirely at the user's own risk. PeerPort bears no liability for disputes, losses, or damages arising from off-platform activity.
8. Identity Verification
PeerPort uses third-party KYC services to verify user identities. Passing verification does not guarantee the trustworthiness of any user. PeerPort is not liable for losses resulting from interactions with verified or unverified users.
9. Account Termination
PeerPort reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at its sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior deemed harmful to the community.
10. Limitation of Liability
PeerPort's total liability to any user for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by that user in the preceding 12 months. PeerPort is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules.
12. Changes to Terms
PeerPort may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notification.
